Event (Photobooth at Shoppers)

The Cosmetic Department of Shoppers Drug Mart in Parksville put on a "Fall into a new look" Gala last night. Tickets were $10, $5 of that went to an organization called Look Good Feel Better - who supplies wigs and makeup to women with cancer to make them Look Good and Feel Better. The other $5 came off the ticket holder's purchase. There were free makeup makeovers, paraffin wax, and nail painting, and several gift baskets were won. As part of the fun I had a photo booth set up where ladies could get their photo taken after getting all dolled up. Here's some of the photos.

Hung out with a friend of mine last night. We had no destination, we just drove until we found a cool spot and stopped and took pictures, photos for the joy of taking photos.

Back in October of 2012 I took newborn portraits to celebrate the arrival of this family's first born child - a new baby girl! Exactly 1 year later, the parents joined in the shoot for a picnic and fall themed family portrait session.

Couples (Zack and Winter)

I went to Salt Spring Island and met up with a bunch of photographers and models from all over Vancouver Island. I had the pleasure of photographing these 2 models, who actually happen to be dating, so I got practice on shooting couples.

Event (Marina's 1st Birthday Cake Smash)

It was Marina's first birthday, and what better way to celebrate than to put a cake in front of her and let her go happy!
