Object (Brad and Laura's Engagement Ring)

I recently got the news that my brother proposed to his girlfriend, Laura, and she said Yes!
I was pretty excited, I couldn't help but bring out my camera and photograph the ring!
Here's a couple shots that were taken in the kitchen tonight.

Family (Dempsey)

I am blessed to work with Lindsey. She is a very caring young lady, and always has great ideas for locations for my photo shoots. To celebrate her mom's birthday, Lindsey gathered the troops together and met me at Rathtrevor Beach for a family photo session. It was an honour to spend time with this wonderful family. They are a fun bunch of people. I literally laughed out loud as I was editing them. Thank you for allowing me to share in this special day.

Family (Groenewold)

My friends, Jesse and Abby, live on the mainland now so I don't get to see them that often anymore. They were on the island for the weekend and I had the honor of photographing their family photos with their newest addition: 5 and a half month old Zebediah. It was great to spend some time with them again and catch up on life. I guess all the photo taking tired out the little one, for when we were walking back to the car the sweet little guy fell asleep in my arms.

Model (Pauline)

My mom, Pauline, lives just outside Edmonton, Alberta and I live in Parksville, on Vancouver Island. Needless to say, we don't get to see each other a whole lot. Last weekend we got to reconnect in Abbotsford. We made some time to go for a walk and my mom had the opportunity to watch her daughter work first hand, as well as learn a few tips about photography.
